North Kingstown Free Library Corporation
The NKFL Corporation supports the mission of the North Kingstown Free Library to meet the changing and enduring cultural, educational, informational, recreational and research needs of its users. The purpose and object of the Corporation shall be to operate exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes as a non-profit corporation with its activities so conducted and for the such purposes as the receipt of bequests, trusts, legacies, grants and contributions for distribution to the North Kingstown Free Library as an exempt organization under section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law). In fulfilling its mission to support the North Kingstown Free Library, the NKFL Corporation provides auxiliary financial assistance to the library by funding projects for which general operating funds may not be available.
